A fortnight ago the Don experienced his first high school football game. Yesterday, he ventured up to Lubbock to watch his first college football game: Texas Tech vs. Oklahoma University. And when I said
previously that high school football in Texas is big, well, college football is bigger. 60,800 folks went to worship, sorry watch, the Red Raiders get beaten 41-20 under grey skies and with 10 degree heat. So not
that unlike an Aberdeen game then (apart from the number of supporters, obviously).
Anyway, while he was away for the day, us girls and papa experienced a different type of worship, with a Live Veggie Tales concert at
Wagner Noel Performing Arts Centre:

| Half time snacks - yum. |
 |
| Larry, Bob and Junior Asparagus |
Very loud; lots of singing and screaming; a large jostling crowd: not so different from each other.
