We Are Detective

Rather than relaxing in our first week of the holidays, the boys and I helped out and got stuck in to our church holiday club:

It's been a hilariously fun-filled, busy week, made even better by the Paulies who've been staying with us since Easter and who came along to the first few days of club with us.

As you can see by the dancing they got stuck straight in:

As well as dancing and singing we were playing detective and helping Justin Case solve the mystery of the missing jewel.  There was also plenty of games, donuts - throwing and eating - and the kids absolute favourite bit: gunge.

Justin Case himself

Persevere to the end and you'll see sweet KP finally succeeding!

What the video above doesn't show, is that prior to holiday club this morning Joey was feverish and therefore dosed up on Calpol.  The minute club finished he went deathly pale again, was shivery, and basically slept from the car ride home to 9pm.  But he volunteered for the donut game!

Next week and some R&R can't come soon enough...
