Anyway, first up in oor wee toon was a trip to Brick Built at the Garioch Heritage Centre. Actually, the Garioch Heritage Centre was the aim, a world build of Lego bricks was a bonus.
There was a whole airport built in Lego, which was Joey's absolute best dream come true. "Maybe I can have this in my bedroom?!?!?" Eh... sure.

As well as a number of Lego models there was a graffiti wall, soft bricks, and a car jump track, which I think was the highlight for all and would have been experimented with far longer had we not a chicken roasting in the oven.
The next day dawned much nicer, so off to our favourite castle we trotted...
It was really lovely having them come to stay, and though my kids' German is pretty much non-existent, and CindyC's kid's English is limited to yes, no and snow (?!), they seemed to make themselves pretty well understood.
Bis naechstes Mal!
