On A Bang

I have to say, the celebrations that take place in November are by far and away my favourite celebrations of the whole year, and no, not just because one of them is my birthday ;)

Tonight, albeit two nights early because neither on Saturday nor Sunday will we all be at home, we had our bonfire night dinner with our now traditional bangers and mash, bonfire fruit salad and eventually after all the football, swimming, ballet and coaching was done, a fireworks cake and some sparklers (while trying to stay out of the rain).

And hopefully one year soon - when evenings and weekends get less chaotic ha - we'll get back to celebrating these traditions as an event with some of our most favourite people, and not scrabbling things together on a random night of the week that works!
