For our January cousin-birthday meet up this year we popped down to the City of Discovery to discover the Discovery. We've not visited since we were first home almost 10 years ago, but it's an interesting boat and an museum charting the history of polar travel, Captain Scott and the Discovery's journey (which was made in Dundee) to the Antartic way back when. I don't actually know the dates because we had Major Tom with us and I got very actual reading of displays done! But that's okay - bizarrely the ticket lasts for a whole year so I'll just be sure to pop back another time sans pets!
No great family photos. It was cold, wet and miserable outside, and not much warmer (in either actual warmth or welcome!) inside the Beefeater next door either! Always a good time though.
