You'd never see a Pro-Life float in Aberdeen though, and certainly not with the slogan "Choose life: Mary did" bannered across it. But then, to quote the float, "...if it wasn't for moms there'd be no Christmas".
But there was also the expected Santa and sleighs, Christmas trees, gingerbread house, nodding donkey, as well as the mascots from the RockHounds Baseball team and a bunch of roaring Harley's. Toots and Tigers absolute favourite bit though was the half dozen old Chevy Impala's (like Ramone from Cars) that drove past us and bounced about a meter off the ground, could make the front corner of their car rise about half a meter while the other three corners stayed low, and went 'looow and slooow'. They were pretty cool. Don't have a picture of them though.
We decided not to hang around for the massive Christmas Tree Light switch on though cos we were cold and hungry, so headed to DoubleDave's for some pizza and pool. The girls are surprisingly good!
