The End

Finally!  The Stand is finished, after oooh... three weeks or so?  It was a looong read.

I did have a wee 24 hour reprieve in the middle where I finished off Karen Kingsbury's Bailey Flannigan series, which was definitely a much needed break from all that death and destruction.  But I have to say, the book wasn't as scary or as dark as I thought.  Though I'll admit I did skim read quite a few of the Trashcan Man and 'dark man' sections.  

But next time, and there will be a next time, I'm thinking I'll read it without the skimming.  Though Stephen King is a right blether, so maybe I'll try the original version...
