St Andrew's Fall

Seems like the longer we're abroad the less we celebrate our own country. Today, all we managed to do to honour our patron saint and home country, was watch some of The Family-Ness.

But I blame a late Thanksgiving this year (and Lightning did don his kilt for the occasion), a freezing start to the week, the beginning of our Christmas Season and, eh, well... you know...  Will make more of an effort next year, or at least I'll make sure to cook a Scottish dish for tea like we did a couple of years ago.

Today is also the big 1-0 (months) for Joey.  To celebrate he cut his first two teeth during the night (the top right and bottom right if you care) and since we *read: The Don* finally cleaned out the car and swapped around the seats, he's now sitting in a big car seat too.

The teeth may also have been the reason for the horrendous night he gave us last night.  Or I suppose it could be because he couldn't breath.  Our house is currently covered in snot and Vicks (or at least three of four children are), which is a great end to a fun week off.

Anyway, Happy St Andrew's Day!
