Okay, so the Germans didn't thrash the Argentinians, but still, am I good at predicting or what?

Germany 1-0 Argentinia

I was watching with a Spaniard (who lost a good bet on Argentinia), a Scot, an American couple, seven wild children more intent on pizza making, practicing their walking and producing 'a show', and a Nigerian who has supported Germany since 1986 and who danced a dance worthy of a German when Goetze found the net.

Unlike the Don, who missed the most important goal of the tournament because he had to leave his Parisian pub and catch the last train home.  Still, by the time he finally made it back to Melun I'm sure it was already on YouTube.  Bummer though.
