I tell you, it's often far easier to be patriotic when you're far away from 'home'.
Round One was a post swim Independence Day brunch, with Scotch pancakes, Danish bacon, Canadian Maple Syrup and local eggs. But the raspberries were Driscolls I think and therefore flown in from the States. We even celebrated with family in the form of Jona, but this was the last day of their time here before holidaying in Britain and then moving to pastures new.
Post rest it was time for Round Two, though sadly sandy skies halted our grand plans for hot dogs, popcorn and a movie under the stars.
Round Three involved our own form of red, white and blue fireworks, which were the absolute highlight of the day.
Thanks Pinkalicious and Co for all the patriotic decorations!
And of course it was the perfect opportunity for some family photos...
The last time we had some of them on Independence Day we all looked like this and this. Aren't they cuties?!

Glad you had a fun day of celebrating! Your two little native Texans are getting so big. Miss all of you!
Great pics! Also loved your Texan platter/cutting board. Just perfect for hot dogs (with mustard?) and even presumably provided with an (albeit hidden?) panhandle for ultimate servability?!!
