The impetus for travelling back to Scotland this Easter was the sixty-year celebration of this lovely lady:
With family and friends having travelled from Germany, France, Austria, the south of England, Israel and the UAE, it's pretty clear to see how amazing she is. Of course changing her plans to fit in with our Easter holidays just adds to that!
There was much food - so much food! - and our kids had their first taste of lorne (square) sausage.
There was
dancing - something we'll need to work on with the kids since they'll not be getting it in school every year.
There was conversation, lots and lots of conversations.
