The First Days of Spring

First grill of the year (enjoyed outside with only the need for one additional layer)!

Actually, in the sun it was an absolutely cracking day, as was yesterday and as is due tomorrow.  In the shade though, which comes round our house very quickly in the winter, it was a touch on the cool side.  

But then it is February, which we are trying to remind the kids: this is not the first days of spring, however it feels, but merely a warm interlude before the final blast of winter hits.  Though I'm more than happy to eat my words!
