| And still as into Awesome as ever! |
He had a looong wait*, poor boy, to blow out this candle, open the presents and eat the cake, but it was totally "Awesome".
*Despite being a Saturday and an 'ace' day for a birthday, both Toots and Lightning were actually up in Buckie as part of a two-day meet and had left the house by 6:30am. Then Tiger had her first trampoline competition in Banchory all morning, and though Joey was going to go to the park with his bestie Zee during that time, he then called off because of the Big-C. So eventually only four of us made it through to Codona's for some crazy golf, which was the one thing he wanted to do for his birthday, only to discover the outside 'crazy' one wasn't open, though at least the inside one was. Then we couldn't go bowling because we had to rush home because the Tees were actually getting home earlier than planned, and then when they get home it was finally time to open the presents... And eat kebabs. And cake. A long wait, but worth it.
