Seasons to Cycles

Ah it's that time of the year again, when the little 10 and 11 year olds get on their bikes and suddenly either turn into cocky, mountain bike bravados with no need to learn the rules of the road because they know everything there is to know, or look at you glaiketly giving no impression that they have heard the rules you've explained. And have repeated over and over and over multiple times to them and the 15 kids in front of them. 

That's right, it's....

Bikeability time!

This morning, though absolutely freezing, was a pretty successful first week on the road, and the first class had managed their three learning stations with such ease that there was time left to cycle around the park a few times.  What that also meant, though, was that there wasn't actually enough time to get inside, warm up, and enjoy a quick cup of tea before moving on to the next 30 kids!
