Did I ever mention that the boys were heading off to Switzerland during summer 2025 for an overseas Scout trip? They're travelling to Kandersteg, an International Scout Centre in the Swiss Alps, and the week-long programme looks absolutely awesome.
However, it's expensive, and today was the first of the 'official' fundraising events:
Both Lightning and Joey managed to take part as well as marshal the event, and despite the not great weather, a fun morning (with cracking home bakes) was had by all. I'll not mention the winning 3k or 5k time though - it would make you cry, especially when you found out they were by 10 and 12 year old boys!
