A Thousand Miles

Man alive, I do think Netflix's The Diplomat is one of the best shows out there.  I watched 2 episodes of the newly released (yesterday) Season 3 last night until it was really too late, and today managed to binge the final 6 on the train home - the only advantage to a 7+ hour train journey!  And look who it brought back together?!

Anyway, from pick up at the train station it was a mad dash to Kemnay to watch the final performances from the week-long Gaitherin'.

Entirely as expected Joey picked keys as his first instrument, while Tiger picked harp:

Small Fry chose guitar, and despite my best efforts, he was pretty much hidden for the entire performance, either by his band mate or conductor!

As always they had an absolutely ace time during the week, but I think are definitely looking forward to doing very, very little tomorrow!  Aren't we all...  Except, of course, for the person who has to get up at 5:15am to get Tiger to Aberdeen bus station to catch the bus to Glagow Uni open day.
