I had to drive down to Stirling to pick up Lightning from the G-Ks after his epic French adventure, and seeing as it was Mother's Day we decided to celebrate mothers, daughters, grandaughters, aunts, nieces and daughter-in-laws with a family get-together with whoever was free and able to meet in the middle:
The sheer drop at the top of Kinnoull was, as ever, a delight to those in charge of little kids and free-running dogs, but what cracking weather for a lovely walk, before a wonderful afternoon tea at Starfish Cakes and Bakes.
