Of course we immediately tried to book a test date, knowing that they are booking months and months in advance, with the hope that she'd manage to sit her test in June or July. But all to no avail. Literally there were no test dates available anywhere in the north east at any time. I mean we looked as far as Elgin. In fact, we even looked in Callander and Stirling, but nada.
So, this morning, we're sitting here at 5:55am waiting on the DVSA to release their next lot of dates at 6:00am for 24 weeks time. Twenty four weeks time happens to be exactly when we are away in Germany and not available to take a driving test, however, you actually have to be in the system to swap for a potential cancellation, so at the moment we'll take anything.
It's all become such a farce.
