If you ever have the chance to visit Sandend in Banffshire, go. It's absolutely glorious. Even in miserable weather. Having a cracking holiday house with a view over the beach, and an ace family to holiday with, only makes it better. An uniterrupted night's sleep would have been the frosting on the cake but one needs to have something to look forward to I suppose...!
