Trip To The Fair

I did manage to stop scratching long enough to visit the Midland County Fair with the rest of the troops yesterday, though as it was after the toothpaste trial but before the Tea Tree Oil, I did have to search out some long trousers first.

Anyway, there was ridin' and ropin' and yodelin'... okay, so there wasn't any yodeling, but there was riding and roping which we eventually managed to watch. And tractor pulling and cowboy shooting and a car show and karaoke and 'John Wayne' and a Little Miss Midland CF, which we didn't.

But first we had to go in search of the petting zoo:

And only then did we get to see some bull riding (Joey's first):
