Waking up in Las Vegas

So, Vegas...

Some things I can tell you:

• There is nothing on TV at 4:30am.  We know thanks to Joe's Texas-time alarm clock.
• You could eat off the marble toilet seats and floors in the Wynn.  You truly could: the bathrooms were astounding.  We also heard the breakfast buffet was something special and needed to be seen to be believed, but we were too early.  I know!  Us?  Early for breakfast??!
• Starbucks costs about three times as much close to Aria than it does in Midland.  Probably because the people that shop in Chanel, Gucci, Cartier etc that neighbours it also like coffee.
• All our babies sleep magnificently during really loud music, singing, dancing, and sweets being thrown.  They don't sleep so well in the peace and quiet of a hotel room.
• You'll not get any change out of a $25 complimentary dining voucher when ordering two drinks at Gordon Ramsay Pub & Grill in Caesar's Palace.  In fact, you'll have to pay more, plus tip.  All staff also reply with a "cheers", which is quite disconcerting after almost three years of people giving you blank looks when you say it to them.  And apparently it's not 'required'
• Babies are not allowed within an arm's length of a bar in Nevada by law.  Although maybe the arms length bit isn't actual law, I don't know, but them were the rules we had to live by.
