| Happy Valentines Day! |
Ours was filled with parties, candy, and lots and lots of love.
Oh, and some quickly-whipped-together-late-last-night cupcakes for Toots's school party this afternoon, frosted beautifully *cough* with some leftover frosting given to me by a friend clearing out her cupboard. Frosting that is harder to manipulate than you'd think, coming straight from a can: hence the badly shaped hearts. Frosting that is not as nice tasting as you'd think either. In fact, Lightning actually refused to finish the cupcake he had for breakfast dessert (that's right, we live a good life here). After I scraped off the icing he happily ate the rest, but if a 2-year old refuses frosting, you know there's something wrong somewhere!
Maybe it's just the colouring. That red that stains fingers can't be anything even vaguely natural....
