Get Your Shine On

This week the girls have been at our church's VBS every morning.  They have loved it, and learned all about the five crowns of reward and shining for Jesus on earth.

Last night VBS hosted a Picnic on the Patio, which was really just an excuse to get together again, have a good natter, enjoy some BBQ, and watch the kids show-off their 'beat' skills.

Oh, and watch Joey, who is so much happier now that he is on his feet, do everything the older kids were doing (when they abandoned their posts).

"I'll fly away, oh glory, I'll fly away..."

We're gonna miss this church... though not so much when they send drumsticks home ;)
