Dreaming The Same Dream

We finally got round to visiting our Viking friends up in Dubai today.  They moved out here from Aberdeen last summer with their two girls, and added a third girl to the mix about a month ago.  It was lovely catching up with an Aberdonian (and her Faroese husband) and also her parents who are over visiting, and who have known the Don since he was, well, since he was.  It was also lovely to speak to someone six months ahead of us in terms of settling in and making roots, lovely to hear the Aberdonian accents, and we're thinking it'll be especially lovely to have willing (?!) sleepover buddies for those times the Don and I fancy going to a concert up in the Dubai!  Our kids have already made plans you know... and it'd be a shame to disappoint them...  Plans for Atlantis I think are also afoot...

Perhaps we'll need to donate some boy dressing up clothes to their supplies, though.
