I'm not sure if they moved the Year 2 'Fire and Ice' topic from the second term to the first as a result of the weather last February (nah, surely not... that was just a freak day), but it did mean there was no way the Polar Explorer outfit Toots sensibly wore could be reused. So we came up with a slightly cooler, simpler, made at 6.30am this morning, penguin costume instead. Okay so the flippers on the feet didn't exactly lead to a simpler walk, but you know... We had a good laugh!Who'd've thought that penguins was a topic studied across the globe at age six though. Doubt me? Check this post out.
