And then another trip back to Khalifa City Spray Park for some more splashing. Though it is the end of October and the water was cold and the evening sun didn't quite cut it for the kids, so there was more playing tag on the grass and climbing on the frame than actual spraying going on.
But I'm thinking the kids are gonna need the rest of the wekeend to detox from visitors, people and the related fun. Especially Joey, who is used to having plenty of alone time to play and peace and quiet during the day with me, but has basically had non-stop playmates for the last 10 days. And you can tell!
Of course, that all sounds great in theory, but Saturday is HALLOWEEN!!! - it's in Caps because that's how the kids say it every. single. time. which of course means TRICK OR TREATING!!! around the Neighbourhood with a bunch of friends. So maybe next week will need to be the detox...
