I'm On My Way

I mean seriously, are sound systems in schools really that hard to set up and operate?!?  We haven't been to a single school performance in the last year where the sound has done what it's supposed to do.

It was 2Cs turn to present at the school assembly and with Scotland as the theme, the words of 500 Miles by The Proclaimers, You'll Never Find a Nessie in the Zoo from Family Ness, and the pronunciation of Auchtermuchty and Drumnadrochit perfected, we were really looking forward to the show.

"Scotland is a country at the top of the UK.  It's capital city is
Edinburgh where there is a beautiful castle."

Except of course the song music for some reason didn't play through the hall system and the chance to showcase the sounds of Scotland were missed.

Still, thanks to YouTube my kids have at least perfected their renditions.  Next up: mastering ceilidh dancing in the next five weeks..
