Band on the Run

And when the girls are away, the boys will play... or at least carry on with their usual activities!

This afternoon, the (actual) first race of the Aberdeenshire XC Running Series, held in Bogbeth Park, Kemnay:

Bit of a slow start!

Though a warm afternoon it was a but nippy by the time the race began, especially after half an hour of hanging around waiting for everyone to register.  Both my boys came 4th in their categories but young Zee, who was running in his first ever race, claimed a magnificent silver in the P1 Boys race woop woop!

We didn't hang around after the prize giving to watch the older kids as Toots wasn't running and I didn't pack a tea and the boys needed something to eat before swimming, but as expected, The OC came storming home for the gold. Good start to an undefeated season!!
