Okay, so
this year I
wasn't up at 5:15am so funnily enough didn't have time to beautifully arrange my strawberries, blueberries or bananas (had I bought any)
or make pancakes (which I would have done actually had I bought strawberries, blueberries and bananas). We did, however, manage to star spangle the house, grill under a brolly, and eat some hotdogs post-school, during Boydside dinner and pre-swimming, though still failed to get any decent photos.

But, I definitely hold to last year's final words that 4th July is "Always best when celebrated with friends", and both Google Photos and the Vixen cheerily reminded me of Independence Day's past:
