Something's Cookin' in the Kitchen

The Swim Club have been really good at encouraging the senior swimmers to socialise and come together outside of just their sport, and this week they were challenged to make a healthy meal altogether (via zoom) for their families.  For some odd reason they passed on pasta bake (easy) and  curry (also relatively easy) and opted for pizza, including a make-your-own-dough (which is not easy).  So after traipsing the shops in search of yeast, and making a very easy dough, but really struggling to turn that into a four pizza bases, Toots and I decided that in future we would stick to frozen pizza, or at least supermarket-bought bases.  The home-made sauce was pretty tasty though...

As were the toppings!  Though Toots was at a bit of a disadvantage
as she had to make four to feed her hungry family

And in the 10 minutes it took to bake she even cleared, wiped and swept up.  Whatta gal.

Movie on... beer open... pizza GO!

Another dish next week?!  Ach I'd settle for every fortnight.
