Snow on tha Bluff

It might not have been the Alps, but it was pretty close to the best that Lightning could hope for this year*!

And though it started off glorious, with a few short snow showers in between the glory...

...Scotland soon gave us what Scotland gifts best: wild winds, howling snow and a power cut, which is what finally cut our visit short.  Which is a shame really, because I was totally ready to get outside and record some of their parallel snow plough turning - and the boys were totally ready to tackle some of those jumps!

Totally the right call to get off the mountain when we did.

Next year ma loon, next year...

* After his P6 School Ski-trip was cancelled in January due to Storm Arwen damaging the buildings of the Compass Christian Centre where they were planning to stay.
