Never has a truer word been spoken!
It literally hit 2:45pm (the Academy gets out at 3pm and the primary school at 3:15pm) and the heavens opened. I mean O-P-E-N-E-D. Rain was stottin' off the ground.
The Don and I had just come back from a physio appointment, so I took pity on the kids and went and picked them all up and ran our after-school pick'n'mix errands by car - though the Don wasn't impressed as he actually had to get out the car, cover over Violleta's hutch, unlock the house, and get inside, during the worst of the downpour.
