(The other) Half A Mill

After spending the morning watching the ceremony and pageantry of the Royal funeral and procession, we headed once again to Millstone Hill - 18 months after we first climbed it as a family (a few weeks into the first lockdown and our first car journey in weeks) and 6 months after the Don stopped climbing anything but the stairs (and even then that was very slowly).

And would you believe it, about 100 steps away from the top, once again the skies darkened again, the rain came, and pretty much none of us were wearing waterproof jackets.  But luckily this time, about 50 steps later, the rain cloud passed and the sun shone once again and...

...ta da!

Can you spot Lightning?!?

Gorgeous views, relatively easy hill, and a lovely afternoon spending a bonus day off enjoying the land (that is close enough to the land) that the Queen also loved.
