It has been THE ABSOLUTE best week of the year in Scotland so far: hot, dry, up to 28 degrees!!! Though it has actually been quite nippy later on and we've only eaten a couple of evening meals outside (I suppose it is September...).
I am not embarrassed to say I put a lot of stuff on hold and instead spent a lot of time sitting out in that sun. In fact, I spent all day today in my bikini - literally all day, just throwing a cover up on to cycle up to school at pick up time - because of course, our cars needed washing and my book needed read.
But oh... how I love hot weather.
