The palestinian olive-wood nativity set I bought in Abu Dhabi a good few years ago has always looked 'lost' on my window sill each Christmas. For years I wanted to buy some sort of stable to add to it, or maybe mock up a background for it, but never got round to doing anything about it. Finally I bit the bullet (can't even now remember when - maybe when I tidied it away last year?), cellotaped bits of paper together and sketched up a life-sized plan, posted it to the States and.... ta da!!
