Still freezing. Still snow everywhere. No more days off school, though pretty regular late starts (if you're not getting up to swim anyway).
It's gorgeous actually - the continued freezing temperatures and snow showers have meant Council gritters have focussed on trunk and main roads leaving the rest of the roads, pavements and lanes beautifully covered in compacted snow that has been fairly easy to drive and walk on. A proper winter wonderland. We've also had the fire going all day most of the days so the house has been cosy and warm, and all activities (bar swimming!) have been cancelled so the evenings have been fairly leisurely too.
Long may it continue I say (though don't let it affect the airport on Friday morning!)
