Wet

January has been absolutely miserable up here in the North East.  Well, the snow started us off nicely, but since the snow melted it's literally rained every single day. And I mean every. single. day. When you wake up in the morning the first thing you hear is the rain battering your roof and pelting your window.  When you go to sleep at night the last thing you hear is the rain clattering down again still, and the wind howling.  It's really starting to get depressing. And February hasn't started much better with rain after wind after storm warning.

In fact, an article came out yesterday saying there has been no reported sunshine at Dyce weather station since 21st January - the longest sunless period in the area since Met Officer records began in 1957 - and I would love to know what length of time the sun was recorded for on the 21st! It honestly feels like we've not even seen a blue sky since 2025, let alone the sun.

Time to actually sit infront of the Lumi SAD lamp we have at home me thinks, instead of just using it's alarm clock and wake-up features.
