Power To The People

Today is the start of Constitution Week in the United States.

This observance commemorates the signing of the Constitution in 1778, when thirty nine courageous delegates struggled to create a document that would balance a limited government with rights and privileges of American citizenship.  It is the cornerstone of our freedoms to protect every American from the abuse of power that too much Government can impose.  The ideals expressed in the Constitution are reinforced each day by the success of the system to which it gave birth, and is a system which can not function without an enlightened public. We live in challenging times, but fear and discouragement are not options.  The difference between success or failure, victory or defeat, is one person willing to stand up for the truth.
