These Boots Are Made For Walkin'

Now this is the type of weather I know how to deal with...

...so finally it's time to play: Scotland style.

Okay, on reflection the splashing was fun and it was great to see the Draw finally full of water, though somewhat scary driving through streets like an ocean to get there.  But 15C (59F), putting kids in rain jackets, carrying an umbrella, putting rain covers on car seats and buggies, running to the car, still getting soaked, shaking off before coming inside, hanging up wet clothes over the bath etc. etc. ain't so much fun.

It was, officially, Midland's first measurable rainfall since September 2010.
