Banana Pancakes

Okay, so it may not be the healthiest first food a child should have, but it sure shut him up long enough for the girls and me to enjoy our morning pancakes in peace!

So much for no sugar in the first year eh...

Not that he's being weaned - he can't yet properly hold food and take it to his mouth, so he's still got a good month of full-time mummy milk I reckon.  But you know, if he's sitting with us at the table or girning and whatever we're eating will keep him quiet... well... so be it.  He is the third child after all!

Toots had a more sedate introduction to food (with not such great camera work) with baby rice at six months:

While Tiger, having point-blank refused anything from a spoon, finally at seven months decided to lead us in her weaning and enjoyed broccoli and Weetabix:
And she taught us well, with Lightning clearly enjoying the benefits!
