One of the best bits about the 650 mile round trip on the 1-20, is driving past Sweetwater and Roscoe and seeing one of the
world's largest capacity windfarms.

You maybe can't really see the scale on these photos, but there are 627 around Roscoe, 181 near Sweetwater, 100 at Trent, 200 at Lone Star Wind Farm and 421 at Horse Hollow Wind Energy Centre, so for maybe a 30 miles stretch wind turbines are turning as far as the eye can see. Which I think looks pretty cool.
And although we didn't this time, seeing them at night with the red lights on top all twinkling at different times, is kinda cool too.
