First up, Tiger's award for completing her First Year Cubbie Handbook.
And if you don't think you can see her third from the left, then you'd be right, cos she was here:
Who knows what got in to her, but as soon as we walked in to the sanctuary she said she didn't want to go up on the stage, and took a tantrum the minute I left her with the rest of the Cubbies. Three different leaders tried to convince her, and she just stamped her feet harder and shoved her fingers further in her mouth. By the time she was led back to me she was quite literally a blubbering mess who was so upset that she was practically hyperventilating. As a result of little sleep over the last few days, and knowing what she's like, I wasn't in the mood to try and convince her it really was okay to go onstage (even Toots last year managed it, and she had a well recorded hatred of being the centre of attention) so she just had to sit at the back with me for the rest of the event.
Then it was time for Toots:
She received her First Book Ribbon for completing the HangGlider Handbook, which meant memorising over 30 bible verses, the books of the New Testament, finding out about a missionary and completing various other tasks over the course of the year. She also managed to complete her review book and won Clubber of the Quarter this past term for completing the most sections.

Oh, and I also completed my HangGlider book, but didn't feel the need to go up front to receive the ribbon. No idea where my kids get their shyness from...
