Wild About It

On Sunday we yee-hawed it over to The Hubbard Museum of the American West to check out some old stagecoaches, Native American artifacts, all things horse, and the much loved kids interactive area:

Different city, different museum, different baby,
exactly the same outfit (purely by chance).

Late afternoon and it was time for a hike up Cedar Creek, though we actually ended up on a USFS Fitness Trail.  In fairness, this meant the kids were far more active than they'd probably have been just hiking...

Everybody went kung fu fighting...

And finally, it was time for the drive home...  But before that bit, we stopped at Hondo Iris Farm for some beautiful shade, trees, running water and flowers, all of which are sadly lacking in our homestead.

As a by the by, we think it was just car sickness that Toots had, from reading too much in the car.  Turns out a thirst for knowledge isn't always a good thing!
