Aftermath

But the celebrations weren't over.  Oh no... day 2 was just beginning.

For some of us, it began quite a bit earlier than others (thank you young children: even though you went to bed at midnight you still greeted us with bright eyes and bushy tails far too early).

For others, it began later but a sight more uncomfortable.

When you party till 5am
you'll sleep anywhere it seems...

For all of us, it began a whole lot smokier.

That's right, it was time for Mechoui.  That's lamb roasted on a spit North African style to you and me. And it was incredibly tasty.

Followed closely (perhaps too closely) by the Away match: this time France vs The World.  After 20 minutes playing they took a 'half-time', and never got round to full.

I think The World won, despite an own goal by the Don (clearly the Keepers fault). Fun day though...
