Seaside Rendevous

Given the good weather in Aberdeen while we'd been away, and seeing the forecast for the next week, we decided to head to the beach today for lunch and a catch up with the iChum family before their Big Adventure.  Except it turned out to be cold, cloudy and windy.  Too cold certainly for swimsuits (much to Toots and Tiger's disappointment), but never too cold for a Mr. Whippy.

"It seemed a good idea at the time: post lunch we took our families down onto the beach for a run around and play in the sand, except that the tide was in and there was hardly any space to play, the babies needed fed, the oldest ones found old drinks cans which they decided to fill with sand and lob around, the middle boys got their feet and legs soaked by paddling just a little too deep and it was pretty baltic."
