We're in the clear now, but for the last 36 hours we have feared Lightning had come down with chickenpox. Despite eventually giving in and giving him the varicella shot in the States when we knew we were moving here (and it also being a pro-vaccine country and therefore unlikely either he or Joey would have much contact with poxed children).
Turns out it's not chickenpox, thankfully, and today he is back in school, but a child off school for a week (and a potential postponement in surgery for Tiger) was not what I needed.
