Boy(d)s in the Summer

And since we were down Stirling-way anyway, what could be better than joining the Kingswellians for a day at their Loch Lomond retreat....

I mean it did rain pretty much non-stop the whole drive out to them, and the whole time we ate lunch, and for some reason I was so totally not prepared for heavy rain so had nothing like appropriate shoes for a walk in it, but go out we did anyway.  And what do you know, the rain stopped as we got out the car at Balloch Castle Country Park, and only started again as we were heading back to it.

Though when does rain ever stop the consumption of ice cream?!

Though the icing on the cake was most definitely the lodge's hot tub:

If you're gonna get wet, you might as well get really wet!
