According To Plan

I was on our local cooncil website this evening making a comment on the extension plans of the Sports Centre across the fields from us.  While on the website I decided to have a a gander at this house we're living in, since massive changes were made by the guy that sold it to us. 

This is what the property used to look like:

Now three houses have been built on that gorgeous green field, and the outbuildings attached at the back of our steading have been removed and another detached bungalow built in their place.

I mean I know it's stupid to say "What if...", or "If only...", but how cool would it have been to have bought the house and land the first time it was up for sale?!  And I do actually mean probably the first time it was up for sale, given that the man that eventually had to sell it four years ago had lived in the house since he was three.
