The kids did brilliantly, following the story of a young man from Inverurie and his journey through the Great War. They've clearly learned heaps, and I just hope they get to practically learn a bit more in the new year too and take a class trip to the Replica Trench at the local Gordon Highlander's Museum (just heard about it on the radio today so was telling Tiger's teacher all about it!). You can be sure that's a class trip I'll sign up to help with...
