Except our locally-run-since-time-began-or-at-least-the-whole-time-we've-lived-here bonfire and fireworks celebrations at Thainstone have been cancelled (something to do with pedestrians crossing the A96) and since Monday - actual Bonfire Night - is a Boys Brigade night which means we can't head into the Big Smoke for their massive display at the beach, we visited neighbouring Meldrum this evening to enjoy theirs:
